Featurette III and My DD

First, let me apologize for my absence this past week and a half....I forgot how much paperwork is involved at the begining of the school year. For those that don't know I drive a school bus. Specifically, I am a Special Needs school bus driver.....I have had homework every night....I know what your thinking what kind of homework could a bus driver possibly have....Well, the route directions are generated by a computer so it doesn't always choose the easiest or fastest route from one stop to another. So, I can change it but, in order to do that I have to write it all down than submit the changes. Also, the times for each stop are generated by the computer and it doesn't take into account the length of stop lights or how long each individual takes to get on the bus and buckled in etc. Then after I get conformation to the changes specifically time changes I then have to notify each parent with a specific document of said time changes. Also, with special needs we have to have seating charts for each run this works for several advantages...One if I ever have a sub driver they will know whos who and where they sit and two it helps on who gets along with whom and keeps kids whose personalities don't mesh away from each other. The seating chart is always hit or miss so far for one group I have had to rework it 4 times in less than a week. All that and coupled with the heat I have been exhausted by the time I get to go to bed which btw I get up at 3:45 am every morning and go to bed on average by 9:00 pm at the latest. I do have a break in between my runs but, usually I try to take a nap or if I get lucky I get to do field trips during that time. Field trips are awesome!! Field trips range anywhere from going to the Zoo to going shopping at Wal-Mart. Which is great because I can take my camera and get in for free or go shopping and I get paid to do it!! In case you can't tell I love my job!!! Other field trips which usually are at night are the sports field trips taking teams to their games etc. those can be fun too but, a little on the stinky side

Okay, on to other news......In case you missed it I got a DD on Aug. 13th on my Spotted Poser pic!!!

It was suggested by `SheTakesPics and featured by ^kkart I sent them my thank yous in personal notes........Can't even begin to describe my reaction other than stunned shock.....really never expected to get another DD. Also, a huge thank you to those who took the time to visit my gallery and add other pics from it to your and thank you to all my new watchers .......Look forward to getting to know each of you. Just be warned I am way behind this goes to all my watchers and to the people I watch. As of now I have 913 deviations and 145 journals in my inbox......

Lets see what else....oh yeah!! I did a poll of my own first time since 2005 The question was/is "How many thumbs should I do in my journal for the featurette?" I read in ^kkarts' journal about how featuring too many thumbs can be "counter productive". So, thought I would get your opinion on how many I should do at one time.....well needless to say I have a tie in the poll with "17 deviants said 10" and "17 deviants said 40". So I guess I will go with 16 thumbs for my features for now.

Okay enough of my ramblings on to the feature!!! Hope everyone is doing well and hope things settle down enough at work and home to get caught back up and spend time enjoying your artwork.....
