Morning Explorers

Taken in Virginia at the same campsite as "Silky Falls [link] ", this is the following morning. It was a breath taking place!! I wish we could have stayed there longer *sigh*
While on this trip I learned how to use the "A-DEP Automatic Depth-of-Field" mode and I love how my pics look using that function.
I really love this shot and I love the fact that I was able to catch some of the morning rays that were coming through the trees. Such a pristine untainted place. The water was clear and icy cold the air was clean and smelled of the rich forest surrounding us. The stream had trout in it and there were butterflies flittering about everywhere. Wish I could have stayed there*sigh*
The peeps in the shot are my two kids and hubby *minirails in case you were wondering I stood in the middle of the creek/river with tripod and camera shivering my feet off to get this
